　　Wendy Lesser is the founding editor of The

Threepenny Review and the author of six previous books. Her

reviews and essays appear in major newspapers and magazines across

the country. Her awards and fellowships include membership in the

American Academy of Arts & Sciences, fellowships from the

Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment from the

Humanities, and the Morton Dauwen Zabel Award for Criticism from

the American Academy of Arts & Letters. Currently, she is a

Fellow at the New York Public Library's Cullman Center for Scholars

and Writers.
